It has been announced that the Elizabeth Line will finally open on May 24th - starting with the section running between Abbey Wood and Paddington. This is great news for Woolwich and will see much reduced travel times into London. Travel to Canary Wharf will take 7 minutes, to Liverpool Street it will be 14 minutes and Bond Street 21 minutes.
